The new Mammoet was formed in 2000 and has experienced successful growth in the Americas, reflected in both equipment capacity and technical resources. We are proud to have provided the full service handling of heavy lift cargo for many of the continent's most prestigious projects.
Our specialization lies in the transport and placing (both vertical and horizontal) of heavy cargos for many industries including power plants, refineries, chemical plants civil projects and offshore projects. Our equipment fleet and resources for handling heavy and oversized loads consist of specialized and custom-built rolling, lifting, rail, jacking and skidding equipment. All our equipment is operated by skilled personnel who are supported by our in-house logistics specialists and experienced engineers.
History
Mammoet USA’s main office is located conveniently to Houston in Rosharon, Texas where it was originally owned and operated by a local family until it’s acquisition by Mammoet in 1989. The capabilities and reputation of Mammoet soon spread to the large number of refineries, chemical and power plants found in the area and the need for additional offices to service our clients in a more proficient manner were necessary. Mammoet USA now has offices and equipment facilities in New Iberia, Louisiana, Atlanta, Georgia and at the Port of Houston. The demands for Mammoet’s state of the art equipment and expertise have also required the addition of a rail and nuclear energy department. Power, Petrochemical, Civil and Offshore are the four major market segments that make up the core business for the company.
