Mammoet Italy is an autonomous subsidiary in private company form in Italy of the worldwide operating Mammoet Holding BV, with its head office in the Netherlands. Mammoet Italy has been established in Milan since 2001 and got his own main office in Bastioni di Porta Volta, 7 in the heart of the town.
The last few years Mammoet Italy has developed a leadership position in the Italian market on heavy lifting operations in petrochemical sector. As preferred subcontractor of the most important Italian engineering companies Mammoet Italy successfully carried out critical lifting operations in quite all the national refineries and petrochemical plants in mainland as like in the islands.
Furthermore Mammoet Italy played an important role in contracts scored by Italian EPC contractors abroad, supplying the logistic and the execution of some projects or acting as coordinator between the EPC contractors, local sub-contractors and various subsidiaries.
In the last 4 years Mammoet Italy became also an operative company for what it concerns heavy transport carried out with SPMT trailers. Big results have been reached in sea and overland movement of heavy reactors, boilers, big ships sections and fully assembled big yachts. Particularly in this field Mammoet Italy became a reliable and valued partner for all the problems connected to marine activities thanks to his team of skilled technicians.
