Mammoet Europe has more than 32 different offices all over Europe and its main office is based in Schiedam, the Netherlands. Ever since Mammoet opened its doors in 1966 we have been active all over Europe.
Mammoet is active in the different sectors Civil, Power, Petrochemical and Offshore. In the civil sector Mammoet Europe is involved in a diversified range of construction activities. We operate with a wide range from heavy lifting equipment to the most sophisticated lifting devices. Mammoet Europe takes care of full project management regarding the construction of highways, buildings and bridges. To place a bridge across water, highway or railway innovative and creative solutions are required all to the satisfaction of our customers. Projects in steel constructions carry a wide range of activities for Mammoet Europe. Transporting steel parts from the fabrication yard to the project location by road or by water, lifting the parts at the assembly yard at project site and move or lift the complete construction onto its foundation.
From the very beginning of the Mammoet organisation the power industry has been an important and regular customer. Lifting and transport requirements in this industry are often one of a kind and specific for the branch. Within the petrochemical sector Mammoet Europe has gained a firm reputation for heavy lifting and transportation of capital goods. This benefits engineering companies, which are involved in the construction, upgrading and extension of (petro)chemical installations and plants. In the petrochemical sector Mammoet provides economical and tailor-made solutions for every lifting/transportation scenario. Also in offshore sector Mammoet Europe has developed an outstanding programme for load-out operations at offshore construction yards. Our self-propelled modular trailers (SPMT) and various skidding systems perform the heaviest and most complicated load-outs under computer-controlled conditions. Additional ballast and weighing systems are part of a well-scheduled load-out operation.
